Students display works of art at Fort Lewis College's Art Majors Capstone Exhibition
This capstone exhibition is a collaboration between students majoring in Art-Graphic Design and Art-K12 Art Teaching at Fort Lewis College. The works on display are in media ranging from graphic design to fine art. Participating students have designed, curated and installed the exhibition. The display was in the Main Gallery of the Art Building from December 3 -19, 2014.

In a ceremony on Saturday, December, 2014, over 200 Fort Lewis College graduates and their families packed Whalen Gym for Fall Commencement. The speaker chosen to offer the Commencement Address was FLC chemistry professor Dr. Kenny Miller.

Students serve as resident assistants at Fort Lewis College
Resident Assistants are student staff members who live on a floor in a college residence hall to serve as primary resources for information and assistance. The objectives of Resident Assistants are to exhibit a concern for others and relate in a positive manner to the students. They are responsible for creating a living environment that is conducive to the academic mission of the College, maintaining the safety of the facility, and assisting the student in their college experiences.

Local Students and Fort Lewis College Cycling Team Reach #2 in the Nation!
Fort Lewis College was named the #2 USA Cycling Collegiate Division 1 team in the nation. In the five disciplines of cycling, FLC placed 2nd in Track, 1st in Mountain Biking, 2nd in Cyclocross, 3rd in BMX, and 3rd in Road. The following local students were an integral part of that success:

Class of 2014 Graduates From Colorado College
Colorado College awarded 566 undergraduate degrees at its 132nd commencement, held May 19 outdoors on Armstrong Quad.
Jane Lubchenco, the first woman to serve as the head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), gave the commencement address, titled "From Rats to Sharks: Tales of Public Service." She is a 1969 graduate of Colorado College.
